The Heard Museum

For 75 years, the Heard has been a point of pride in Phoenix, a place serving the local community and educating visitors from around the world about the cultures and arts of indigenous peoples. Native peoples of the Southwest are celebrated at the Heard through its world-renowned collections, spectacular exhibitions, colorful festivals, artist demonstrations and residency programs, and in the shop and bookstore. There is no place comparable to learn about the rich and fascinating cultures of the Southwest. Native voices give meaning to everything we do.

The Heard is a place for everyone—families and children, tourists and students, collectors and seniors. It is a collection of unrivalled experiences—educational, entertaining, aesthetic and fun. It is a place to learn about the past and witness the present.

We think of the Heard Museum as a gathering place for all people. There is always something new happening here. You'll be met with a welcome smile, a helpful hand and a staff eager to share with you the many glories of the Heard Museum.
