When In Miami, Stay at the Royal Crown Plaza Resort

Amidst the many hotels lining Miami’s South Beach, Royal Palm Crowne Plaza is a luxury standout with its Art Deco style reminiscent of its history dating back to the 1930’s. The hotel’s original façade (Royal Palm and Shorecrest Hotel) was renovated and the back end was leveled back in December 1998. The Plaza was completed May 2002 to accommodate the newly attached structure that offers 417 rooms including 145 suites and 2 bedroom Royal Palm Suites.

Spacious room amenities include telephone with dataport, internet access, voice mail, coffeemaker, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, bathrobe, mini-bar, in-room safe, work desk with lamp, and complimentary daily newspaper. All suites feature wet bars and pullout sleeper sofas. Also, guest suites have access to a VIP concierge lounge.
The concierge service can provide VIP passes to the best nightclubs in Miami, restaurant recommendations/reservations, shopping excursions, tour advising, and of course they will assist with special occasions.

At the rear of the five building resort complex, there are two tranquil pool areas. One is located at beach level where palm trees surround to secure privacy. The other is a secluded pool and bar on the second level that has a beautiful view overlooking the beach below.

Britto’s Restaurant at the Royal Palm specializes in South American cuisine with Mediterranean influences. The menu is eloquent with succulent Seafood and Pasta entrees. The artwork of world-renowned Brazilian artist, Romero Britto adds electricity to the setting. His display of original and serigraph artwork is bold and vibrant with a cubist, pop, graffiti artist style.

Jazz music is piped in to complete this unique dining experience. After enjoying a feast for all your senses, walk out onto the second level pool area to have a cocktail and view the illuminated Atlantic Ocean.
