Jega International

Jega International began with the aim of providing Westerners access to the finest art in the developing world. Throughout the developing world there is a burgeoning fine art scene led by artists whose work is rich in the cultures they represent. Unfortunately many obstacles prevent these artists' work from leaving their countries and reaching prospective markets. With little access to buyers, it is difficult for these artists to support themselves through their work.

Jega International provides the crucial link, connecting the American market to artists who have achieved a position of distinction in their own countries. We are dedicated to social responsibility in our business, providing fair compensation to artists for their work and reinvesting in their communities through contributions to local projects.

We care about the long-term impact our interactions have on the communities from which we purchase art. We are committed to ensuring that our work benefits not only the artists themselves, but the societies in which they live. In addition to promising our artists a fair price for their work, Jega International contributes to grassroots organizations, nonprofits, and other in-country groups that seek to elevate the quality of life in meaningful ways. We work with men and women in-country, ensuring that each project has the support of the local community. Our philosophy reflects the value we place on each purchase returning wealth to the place in which it originated.
