About Jacob Arts

I am Dion Jacob, I also sign my African name Sendibaba Morathi on my artwork. It means “wise leader”. I was given this name by a wise man at a naming ceremony on 12/27/2002. Known as the day of Kujichagulia, “Self Determination”. I was born in Trinidad and Tobago, these islands of the Caribbean are were I received the gift of “want”. Wanting, like any noble person to use my God given talents to make this world a better place. Wanting to know the truth that wisdom has to offer. Wanting to aid in global healing of nations and its children.

I am on a mission to portray through “the arts”, the vast array of resources that we have in our cultures and our traditions. For we are one family and have only one world to share, and when we can enjoy the fact that we all exist for good, then there’ll be no need for war.

There is not much to say about myself through this biography. My art should speak for me.
