Cheryl and Don Olney
Cheryl Olney and her husband
Don live in Rochester's
Southwedge
neighborhood. Together they own and operate Louise's Daughter. Don's
engineering skill translates Cheryl's papercuttings and drawings into
3-D
wooden figures through the use of computers and a laser, along with
other
tools. Cheryl then paints, decorates, and assembles the work.
The interplay of these two people with
very different skills, experiences, and interests, has created a solid
and
growing business.
