Angel Latorre

Angel Latorre from Puerto Rico paints in watercolor and acrylic. He is a self-taught artist whose compositions focus on realistic expressions.  Latorre’s family and female subjects offer sensitive yet bold statements where he clearly blends the culture of his native land with that of America..  His hues of rich reds, blues and greens complement the earth tones that balance and ground his work.  Latorre says that for him painting is an inspiration.
